Strabane Mills Ltd, originally known as ‘Robert Smyth & Sons Strabane Ltd’, has been a family-run business for over 135 years. Renowned for our expertise, we’ve been supplying our vast customer base with a diverse range of cooked coarse rations for over a century. Our commitment has always been to evolve with time, ensuring that we offer only the best to our customers.
Our Journey
Initially based in Strabane town centre, we moved over 20 years ago to a new location where we built a cutting-edge mill. Our history spans from manufacturing flaked cereals for over 65 years to our recent innovation in refining the flaking process of Barley, Maize, Beans, and Peas.
Our Products
We proudly provide both self-branded and customer-labelled products. Catering to the high end of the market, we have specially formulated feeds for show cattle and sheep. From our “Special Coarse Calf Feed” designed for early stage development to “Code18”, our premier show diet, we have a comprehensive range tailored for every need. This commitment to excellence has been evident with top breeders such as James McKay choosing our feeds for champions like “Ampertaine Mozart”.
